पुस्तक का विवरण : एक रमज़ान के पूरे तीस रोजों के बाद ईंद आयी है। कितना मनोहर, कितना सुहावना प्रभात है। वृक्षों पर अजीब हरियाली है, खेतों में कुछ अजीब ,, आसमान पर कुछ अजीब लालिमा है आज का सूर्य देखो, कितना प्यारा, कितना शीतल रू यानी संसार को ईंद की बधाई दे रहा है। गाँव में कितनी हलचल है ईंदगाह जाने की तैयारियाँ हो रही हैं। और सबसे ज्यादा प्रसन्‍न है हामिद। वह चार-पाँच साल का ग़रीब है दुबला पतला लड़का, जिसका बाप गत वर्ष हैजे की भेंट हो गया माँ न जाने क्‍यों पीली होती-होती एक दिन मर गयी। अब हामिद…………….

Pustak ka Vivaran : Ekramazaan ke poore tees rojon ke baad eend aayee hai. kitana manohar, kitana Suahvana prabhaat hai. Vrkshon par ajeeb hariyaalee hai, kheton mein kuchh ajeeb ,, aasamaan par kuchh ajeeb laalima hai aaj ka soory dekho, kitana pyaara, kitana sheetal roo yaanee sansaar ko eend kee badhaee de raha hai. Gaanv mein kitanee halachal hai eendagaah jaane kee taiyaariyaan ho rahee hain. aur sabase jyaada prasan‍na hai haamid. vah chaar-paanch saal ka gareeb hai dubala patala ladaka, jisaka baap gat varsh haije kee bhent ho gaya maan na jaane k‍yon peelee hotee-hotee ek din mar gayee. Description of the Book : After a full thirty days of Ramadan, Eid has come. What a lovely, what a lovely morning.
