पुस्तक का विवरण : मध्य भारतीय भाषा का सबसे पहला व्याकरण ‘प्राकृत प्रकाश’ है, जिसके रचयिता वात्तिककार वररुचि से भिन्‍न है और इनका समय ईस्वी की पहली शताब्दी में निर्धारित किया जाता है । मार्कण्डेय के प्राकृत-सर्वस्व में भरत, शाकल्य और कोहल ये तीन नाम प्राकृत वैयाकरणों के मिलते हैं, किन्तु इनके व्याकरण ने नहीं हैं।………

Markandey ke prakrt-sarvasv mein bharat, shakaly aur kohal ye tin nam prakrt vaiyakaranon ke milate hain, kintu inake vyakaran ne nahin hain.………….
