Isamen maan ko var dene wali, papon ka naash karane wali our bhakton ko anek phal dene wali kaha gaya hai. Devi shiv ki shakti hain, chandra-surya jaise netron wali hain our daityon ka sanhaar karane wali hain. Ve mahishasur ka vadh kar sansaar ke paap harati hain. Yah stotra batata hai ki maan dukh, daridrata, rog our bhay ko dur karati hain tatha santaan, sukh, samṛaddhi our moksha pradaan karati hain. Shraddha our shuddh bhav se isaka paaṭh karane par maan sadaiv prasann rahati hain.
