पुस्तक का विवरण : बत्ती के चारों तरफ पीतल की छलनी जैसा खोल चढ़ा हुआ था| कुमार जब भी इस बत्ती को जलाता, बत्ती की रोशनी पीतल के सुराखों में से दूध की धाराओं की तरह बहने लगती जिस कमरे की दीवारें और कमरे का फर्श रोशनी से छिटका हुआ दिखता| यह बत्ती कमरे की छत में लगी हुई थी| दूसरी बत्ती कुमार की मेज पर लगी हुई थी……….

Kumar jab bhi is batti ko jalata, battee ki roshani peetal ke surakhon mein se doodh ki dharaon ki tarah bahane lagti jis kamare ki deevaren aur kamare ka pharsh roshani se chhitaka huya dikhat. Yah battee kamare ki chhat mein lagi huyi thi. Doosaree battee kumar ki mej par lagi huyi thi……….
