पुस्तक का विवरण : मदर-इंडिया” का जवाब है ? इस में सन्देह नहीं कि पुरुष तथा अमेरिका में शराब, व्यभिचार, चोरी-डाके तथा अत्याचार दिनों- दिन बढ़ रहे हैं, परन्तु मैं स्पष्ट शब्दों में उद्वोषित कर देना चाहती हूँ कि यह सब कुछ कह देना ‘मदर-इंडिया ! का सही जवाब नहीं है । मिस मेयो की बहुत सी बातें झूठ हैं, झूठ ही नहीं गन्दी तथा नीचता-पूर्णा हैं, परन्तु क्या इस पुस्तक के पत्रों……
