Lord Parasnath is the remover of suffering, freeing devotees from disease, fear, calamities, sins, and bondage. Lord Parasnath bestows wealth upon the poor, strength upon the weak, and knowledge upon the ignorant. Devotion to him dispels the fear of Yakshas, Rakshasas, ghosts, and poison. He is like the wish-fulfilling Kalpavriksha tree and the Chintamani jewel. Chanting and meditating on the name of Lord Parasnath destroys sins and leads to liberation.
