पुस्तक का विवरण : शहर के पश्चिमी किनारे पर हज्जिटोला, तीन तरफ सड़क से घिरी हुई थी। चौथे किनारे रेलवे लाइन थी जो भोजीपुरा स्टेशन से सीधे पूरब की ओर जाती थी। बस्ती के बाहर और रेलवे लाइन के किनारे किनारे छोटी छोटी दुकानें बानी थी। बायीं तरफ चबूतरे-छज्जे वाले मकानों की लम्बी कतारें थी और बीच की गली के साथ दायीं तरफ……..
