पुस्तक का विवरण : संन ४० की बात है | अक्टूबर के मध्य में टीकाकरण पहुँचा तो एक दिन अ्रद्वेय पं. बनारसीदास चतुर्वेदी ने एक छोटी-सी पुस्तक पढ़ने को दी | किसी विदेशी लेखक का कोई सवा- सौँ पृष्ठ उपन्यास था | पुस्तक और उसके प्रणोता का नाम मेरे लिए एकदम नया था | विशेष उत्साह न होते हुए भी किताब पढ़नी शुरू की | एक पन्‍ना पलटा की फिर उसे छोड़ना मुश्किल हो गया……….

Kisi videshi lekhak ka koi Sava- Sau prshth upanyas tha. Pustak aur uske pranota ka nam mere lie ekdam naya tha. Vishesh utsah na hote hue bhi kitab padhani shuroo ki. Ek panna palta kI phir use chhodana mushkil ho gaya….……….
